These terms are a clear website-ready version of the commercial terms. Product-specific cardholder agreements, issuer terms, program disclosures, and compliance notices continue to apply where they are presented to a user during onboarding or use.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Karta, you agree to these Terms of Use and to any additional terms shown for a specific product, card program, wallet feature, or payment service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and verification
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement and must provide accurate information during onboarding. Karta may require identity, business, sanctions, AML, KYC, or KYB checks before enabling features.
3. Account security
You are responsible for protecting your login credentials, devices, Telegram account, wallet access, and verification information. Notify support promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or an incorrect transaction.
4. Card and payment services
Card availability, limits, supported countries, supported assets, fees, funding methods, withdrawals, refunds, holds, and settlement timing may vary by user, region, partner, issuer, and compliance review. Karta may change or suspend features where required for security, compliance, partner rules, or risk controls.
5. Fees and taxes
Applicable fees are disclosed in the product, help center, or account interface. You are responsible for taxes, reporting, and records that apply to your use of digital assets, conversions, transfers, rewards, and card spending.
6. Prohibited use
You may not use Karta for illegal activity, sanctions evasion, fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, unauthorized gambling, abusive transactions, misleading business activity, or any use restricted by card network, issuer, partner, or applicable law.
7. Digital asset risk
Digital assets can be volatile and transactions on blockchain networks may be irreversible. Network fees, congestion, wrong-chain transfers, address errors, and third-party wallet or exchange failures are your responsibility unless applicable law requires otherwise.
8. Availability
Karta may update, pause, restrict, or discontinue any feature to maintain security, meet legal obligations, satisfy partner requirements, or improve the service. Karta products may not be available to all customers.
9. Intellectual property
Karta names, logos, designs, software, content, and product experience are owned by Karta or its licensors. You may not copy, misuse, reverse engineer, or create confusingly similar services from them.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Karta is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by unsupported use, third-party services, incorrect information, or blockchain network errors.
